If Andre Onana, the much-maligned custodian, decides to leave Old Trafford this summer, Manchester United has supposedly found the perfect successor. In an eye-catching move, Manchester United paid Inter Milan £47.2 million (€55 million, $63.5 million) to capture Cameroon international David de Gea after failing to decide to extend his contract after the 2022–2023 campaign. However, many would contend that Onana has failed at the Red Devils in the present, as the 29-year-old has committed several high-profile errors in the last two years.
