Arsenal decides between Gyokeres and Sesko to put the Manchester United move on a plate.

According to sources, Arsenal has made a decision about the acquisition of either Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko, and the result of that decision has significantly increased the likelihood that Manchester United will make a fantastic deal of their own.

For the upcoming season, both Manchester United and Arsenal are searching for a strong new striker to lead their lines.

In addition to Martin Zubimendi and a new left winger, the Gunners are hoping that a clinical new striker would help them win the Premier League for the first time since 2004.

Man Utd, on the other hand, wants to start Ruben Amorim's rebuild, and they believe the team needs to improve more in attack.

Bryan Mbeumo may soon follow Matheus Cunha, who will be signing first.

Behind the striker, who might be Gyokeres, they will take up the dual No. 10 positions.

Before the 22-year-old decided to sign with Chelsea, United had first hoped to sign Liam Delap.

In that sense, United paid a heavy price for not playing in the Champions League.

Nevertheless, as previously reported by talkSPORT, Gyokeres is prepared to overlook the absence of UCL football and join with Manchester United despite it, much as Cunha and Mbeumo.

Knowing the Swede from their time together at Sporting Lisbon, Amorim is thrilled to hear that.

Amorim has been in constant communication with Gyokeres since coming to Old Trafford in November.

But first, there are the minor issues of Arsenal and a predicted £60 million transfer cost to deal with.

Gyokeres and Sesko of RB Leipzig are Arsenal's two remaining striker alternatives.

According to a new report by Sacha Tavolieri, Arsenal is actively negotiating for both strikers, but they only plan to sign one.

Arsenal is accelerating both transactions at the same time to make sure they're in a strong position to acquire one of the strikers in the event that the other deal goes through because they know they can't afford to miss out on a top-tier striker again.

Additionally, according to the most recent Daily Mirror report, Arsenal has decided that Sesko is the striker they should buy, which means that Gyokeres might be acquired by Manchester United.

However, Mirror Football is aware that Arsenal is giving Benjamin Sesko priority, the report said.

In an effort to get the best contract, Arsenal's sporting director Andrea Berta has been talking with the players' and their clubs' agents at the same time.

"But instead of Gyokeres, the club's leadership has decided to move forward with their swoop for the RB Leipzig forward."

Man Utd will welcome Arsenal's decision.

Sami Mokbel of the BBC recently asserted that all pertinent parties at the Emirates have "near universal backing" for a deal for Sesko.

Of the two strikers, Sesko will be the more costly; the Slovenian is expected to cost about £67.5 million, while Gyokeres will cost £60 million.

Sesko, 22, could theoretically remain Arsenal's No. 9 for the next ten years, but the club has money to spend.

Gyokeres, on the other hand, turned 27 earlier this month and, although he would be a great short-term choice, he is not a long-term solution.

That won't stop Manchester United, who are eager to sign players who are at the top of their game right now.

That description applies to Cunha (26), Mbeumo (25), and Gyokeres (27).

And after a terrible season in which United finished in 15th place, Amorim will be confident of his chances of securing European football once more with free midweeks the next season and a string of eye-catching additions.

Although there are still obstacles to be addressed, Man Utd would greatly benefit from Arsenal perhaps withdrawing from the competition for Gyokeres.
