Man Utd will outbid Arsenal for Viktor Gyokeres in a "very close" "supersonic" transaction.

Image
Given the amount that Ruben Amorim's team is willing to spend, Manchester United may unexpectedly win the race for Viktor Gyokeres after his sale to Arsenal halted.  Gyokeres has stated that he will never again play for Sporting CP because he believes the team has reneged on an agreement that would have allowed him to depart this summer for €70 million (£61 million or $81 million).  Gyokeres and his agent are reportedly incensed at Sporting's purported move. After scoring an astonishing 97 goals in 102 games over his two years in Portugal, the Swedish striker has been linked to other major clubs.  Several elite teams have reportedly expressed interest in him, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Barcelona.  Gyokeres just signed a five-year contract with Arsenal after the team chose to pursue him over Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig.  In addition, the Gunners have agreed to pay Sporting €63.5 million plus €1...

Fabrizio Romano says, "Here we go," to Anton Stach to Leeds; a Chelsea player is next.

Image
With the final cost details becoming clear, Leeds United has reached an agreement with Hoffenheim to sign midfielder Anton Stach.  The Whites are now in the running to sign an attacker from Chelsea, who could be the team's seventh summer addition. Over the past 24 hours, the Whites' transfer activity has really picked up speed.  Leeds has now struck a complete deal with Hoffenheim to bring Stach to Elland Road, following Friday night's confirmation of the acquisition of Sean Longstaff from Newcastle as summer signing No. 6. Additionally, Fabrizio Romano and Florian Plettenberg confirmed that an agreement was now in place to bring the 6' 4in midfielder to Elland Road, making the twice-capped Germany international their third summer import from the Bundesliga after Lukas Nmecha and Sebastiaan Bornauw.  Romano posted on X, "Anton Stach to Leeds United, here we go!" as the first confirmation of the transaction. A deal with Hoffenheim was reached.  A four-year co...

£60 million striker prepared to respond to Manchester United's SOS cry as Ruben Amorim intervenes

Image
Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins' position on a possible summer transfer to Old Trafford has been revealed in a report, and a former Old Trafford star offers his opinion on why manager Ruben Amorim should acquire the Englishman, giving Manchester United a significant boost in their pursuit of the player. Amorim is adamant on acquiring a new striker this summer, even though Manchester United has already acquired Matheus Cunha from Wolves and is in active negotiations with Brentford regarding Bryan Mbeumo. The manager of Manchester United understood last season that neither Joshua Zirkzee nor Rasmus Hojlund are talented or productive enough to return the team to its Premier League glory days. All summer long, Manchester United has been aggressively seeking a striker, and two of their top targets are Viktor Gyokeres and Liam Delap. Despite working with Amorim at Sporting CP, Gyokeres is headed to Arsenal, while Delap joined Chelsea from Ipswich Town. According to The Sun, Manchester ...

When the "ideal profile" of a new defender is unveiled, Liverpool threatens Marc Guehi's U-turn.

Image
According to a reporter, Liverpool may abruptly abandon their pursuit of Crystal Palace defender Marc Guehi if one crucial component remains unchanged, as the "ideal profile" of any potential replacements becomes apparent. The next position to change in Liverpool's team during the game-changing summer transfer window is centre-back.  In addition to the club-record purchase of attacking midfielder Florian Wirtz, the Reds have already made significant changes at right-back, where Trent Alexander-Arnold has been replaced by Jeremie Frimpong, and left-back, where Andy Robertson has been replaced by Milos Kerkez. Even though Virgil van Dijk signed a new two-year contract, Liverpool still needed to bolster their centre-back position since they began 2025 uncertain if he would stay past the conclusion of his current one. The reason for this is that they have agreed to sell Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen, who will conduct a medical examination on Monday to complete the 22-yea...

As a five-club transfer fight breaks out, Jose Mourinho says yes to the spectacular Man Utd raid, according to sources.

Image
According to Thesportmoment, Fenerbahce has jumped into the battle for Manchester United star Jadon Sancho, and Jose Mourinho is eager to sign the winger. We know that in order to ascertain the terms of a potential transfer, the Turkish club has begun discussions with Manchester United and the player's representation. Prior to the middle of June, Fenerbahce made their initial club-to-club contact, and since May, they have been secretly negotiating a deal. Sancho's possible signing has been approved by Jose Mourinho, and the Turkish powerhouses are making every effort to finalise a deal. But there are two major challenges. First, other clubs are showing a lot of interest in the 25-year-old. Sancho's former team, Borussia Dortmund, as well as Napoli, AC Milan, Aston Villa, and a few Saudi Pro League clubs, have expressed interest in him, as Thesportmoment reported on June 17. The fact that Manchester United is willing to sell for about £30 million has been communicated to po...

When Manchester United receives a transfer approach for an ex-Chelsea player, a Sancho bidding war is on the horizon.

Image
This summer, there may be a bidding battle for Jadon Sancho as interest in the Manchester United failure keeps rising.  The England international cost £73 million (€85 million, $98 million) to leave Borussia Dortmund for Manchester United in 2021, but he has turned out to be one of their worst acquisitions in recent memory. After spending this season on loan at Stamford Bridge, Sancho's fall was encapsulated when Chelsea turned down his request to sign him for £25 million (€29 million, $33.7 million).  Rather than hiring him, they chose to pay a £5 million penalty fee. The former Dortmund loanee is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer, but it looks like there will be plenty of suitors for the 25-year-old.  Serie A champions Napoli are also interested in Sancho, but he will have to accept a wage reduction to join them. Juventus has reportedly looked into the terms of a deal for him, according to Sky Sports. According to the report, United values the Englishman at ro...

Florian Wirtz, a £116 million addition to Liverpool, delivers a transfer message to FSG.

Image
After making a club-record £116 million move from Bayer Leverkusen, Florian Wirtz reportedly told the club's board that he wants to "win everything every year" at Liverpool.  The 22-year-old completed a physical at Liverpool's training facility on Friday, June 20, and signed a long-term contract that is believed to last until 2030. This Wirtz agreement, which includes an initial £100 million (€117 million, $134.6 million) and £16 million (€18.7 million, $21.5 million) in possible add-ons, is by far the Reds' biggest acquisition.  Darwin Nunez held the record when he came from Benfica in 2022 for a maximum of £85 million (€99 million, $114.5 million).  The German international stated after completing his transfer to Anfield that he intends to win any trophy that Arne Slot's side would be able to win in the future.  Based on his remarks, the club's owners, Fenway Sports Group, may be given a subliminal reminder to bolster the team in order to fulfil his trop...

Amorim is instructed to sell the "lost boy" who has "no standout qualities" for Manchester United.

Image
Given that Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo could be the star and another struggling colleague to depart Old Trafford this summer, Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has been informed that the moment is right to allow Mason Mount go.  The Red Devils' miserable 15th place result this season was not just their poorest in the Premier League's history, but also their most disappointing as a team since they were relegated from the top division in 1974.  Since Manchester United supporters aren't accustomed to seeing such hardships, efforts are currently being made to make sure the team can regain its place among the English game's elite. Fortunately, they've had a good start to the summer. The Brazil great Cunha has already committed to joining United, and a £62.5 million deal from Wolves is finalised, pending international approval.  Additionally, Mbeumo, one of the Premier League's most impressive players this season, has decided he wants to sign and is rapidly a...

Anthony Gordon's stance is revealed, as Liverpool targets a £40 million winger, according to sources.

Image
According to sources that spoke to Thesportmoment, Liverpool is eager to sign Malick Fofana as a replacement for Anthony Gordon, a winger for Newcastle United, while the Lyon player's position on a possible move to Anfield also comes to light.  With Premier League powerhouses Liverpool, Arsenal, and Aston Villa vying for his services, Fofana has become one of the most sought-after players in European sport.  Thesportmoment is aware that Lyon's financial difficulties may make Fofana available for about £40 million, while his explosive displays have made him a prominent target. According to sources who spoke to Thesportmoment, Liverpool has actively scouted the Belgium international winger because they see him as a more dynamic and affordable option than Anthony Gordon, the star of Newcastle United. This Monday, Thesportmoment reported that although Newcastle wants at least £80 million for the England international, Liverpool is still interested in Gordon.  Liverpool views ...

Liverpool is "pressing" to recruit a "crazy" talent within the "next few hours."

Image
According to a reliable source, Liverpool is eager to complete a deal for Milos Kerkez because Arne Slot's team wants to beat Bayern Munich to the Bournemouth left-back's signature.  The Reds easily won the Premier League title last season, but the team's owners, Fenway Sports Group (FSG), recognise that they need to bolster their roster and bring in more talented players.  Liverpool cannot remain stagnant since that would be regressive, especially because teams like Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea are all expected to add players during the summer transfer window. The left-back position is one that Liverpool is eager to improve this summer.  The season has not been very good for Andy Robertson, and Kostas Tsimikas is not healthy enough to play for Liverpool every single week.  According to a September 2024 report by Fraser Fletcher, Thesportmoment's transfer correspondent, Liverpool want to recruit Kerkez from Bournemouth in the summer of 2025. According to sou...
