According to reports, Manchester City intends to "break the market" in the summer by making a British record-breaking offer for Barcelona sensation Pedri. Even though Pedri is only 22 years old, he already has an impressive collection of work. With nearly 200 games under his belt, the midfielder has scored 25 goals and provided 20 assists for Barcelona.

With Spain, he has previously won the European Championship and La Liga. Big clubs have frequently expressed interest in him due to his form and significance to major teams in both club and international football at such a young age. According to a March report, Man City was their top target for the summer transfer window, making them the most recent team to show interest in him. Furthermore, according to a later claim by Fichajes, the Cityzens are prepared to make a big move for Pedri.

They are prepared to "break the market" with a €200 million (£171.5 million) offer for the midfield player, according to the report. That would break the British transfer record, which is now held by Chelsea's 2023 acquisition of Moises Caicedo for £115 million.
