Following the revelation of Newcastle's outrageous asking price, Liverpool has little chance of acquiring Alexander Isak this summer. However, two sources have taken steps to downplay the rumours after providing inside information from both Anfield and St. James' Park.  In a transaction that broke numerous records, the Reds eventually completed the long-awaited acquisition of Florian Wirtz on Friday night.  The Germany international, who ultimately cost Liverpool £116 million (€135 million, $156 million), is the second player to join Anfield this summer after Jeremie Frimpong, who was acquired for £30 million (€35 million, $40 million).
