Man Utd will outbid Arsenal for Viktor Gyokeres in a "very close" "supersonic" transaction.

Image
Given the amount that Ruben Amorim's team is willing to spend, Manchester United may unexpectedly win the race for Viktor Gyokeres after his sale to Arsenal halted.  Gyokeres has stated that he will never again play for Sporting CP because he believes the team has reneged on an agreement that would have allowed him to depart this summer for €70 million (£61 million or $81 million).  Gyokeres and his agent are reportedly incensed at Sporting's purported move. After scoring an astonishing 97 goals in 102 games over his two years in Portugal, the Swedish striker has been linked to other major clubs.  Several elite teams have reportedly expressed interest in him, including Manchester United, Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid, and Barcelona.  Gyokeres just signed a five-year contract with Arsenal after the team chose to pursue him over Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig.  In addition, the Gunners have agreed to pay Sporting €63.5 million plus €1...

Image
With the final cost details becoming clear, Leeds United has reached an agreement with Hoffenheim to sign midfielder Anton Stach.  The Whites are now in the running to sign an attacker from Chelsea, who could be the team's seventh summer addition. Over the past 24 hours, the Whites' transfer activity has really picked up speed.  Leeds has now struck a complete deal with Hoffenheim to bring Stach to Elland Road, following Friday night's confirmation of the acquisition of Sean Longstaff from Newcastle as summer signing No. 6. Additionally, Fabrizio Romano and Florian Plettenberg confirmed that an agreement was now in place to bring the 6' 4in midfielder to Elland Road, making the twice-capped Germany international their third summer import from the Bundesliga after Lukas Nmecha and Sebastiaan Bornauw.  Romano posted on X, "Anton Stach to Leeds United, here we go!" as the first confirmation of the transaction. A deal with Hoffenheim was reached.  A four-year co...

Man Utd AGREE: Ornstein unveils the unexpected formula while Marcus Rashford deals with Barcelona

Image
David Ornstein disclosed that Manchester United accepted the terms of Barcelona's offer for Marcus Rashford, bringing the striker one step closer to his ideal transfer.  Thesportmoment confirmed as soon as Rashford joined Aston Villa on loan in February that his preferred light at the end of the tunnel would be a move to Barcelona, a fantasy he has had for almost the whole year.  Rashford and his agents have been able to concentrate their efforts on landing his ideal transfer since Villa decided not to exercise their option to purchase him for £40 million. Rashford is a versatile player that Barcelona's head coach Hansi Flick wants to have on his team. The defending La Liga champions have now taken proactive measures to make the matchup a reality.  Through middlemen, Barcelona has made an offer for Rashford, who has since spoken with Flick, according to Ornstein's report for The Athletic.  Barcelona's offer is a loan with a buyout option, although Manchester United h...

Man Utd makes an urgent and "final" offer of £70 million for Mbeumo, which will be "accepted."

Image
The reason behind Manchester United's decision to make their eagerly awaited third attempt to acquire Bryan Mbeumo has been made public, and it represents yet another setback for an unfortunate Premier League competitor.  Mbeumo, 25, stated unequivocally that if he leaves Brentford this summer, he only wants to join Manchester United.  In order to support the striker, the Red Devils want to start Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha in the dual No. 10 positions.  United will immediately focus on acquiring a new starting striker if Mbeumo signs. Man Utd made two aggressive offers for Mbeumo: £55 million (£45 million plus £10 million in add-ons) and £62.5 million (£55 million plus £7.5 million in add-ons).  Initially, Brentford used Cunha's £62.5 million deal as a benchmark and anticipated to make £62.5 million from Mbeumo's sale.  But the Bees soon learnt they were undervaluing Mbeumo, who finished the season with 20 league goals, more than just Mohamed Salah, Erling Haaland...

Eberechi Eze wishes Chelsea luck as reports show that the Blues can defeat Arsenal.

Image
According to sources who spoke to Thesportmoment, Chelsea has begun negotiations to capture Eberechi Eze during the summer transfer season while Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur decide whether to pursue the Crystal Palace offensive midfielder. Chelsea had a great 2024–25 season under manager Enzo Maresca. The Blues qualified for the Champions League after finishing fourth in the Premier League standings.  After winning the Champions League, Europa League, and Super Cup, the London team also won the Conference League, making them the first team in history to win all four of the major European titles. In the summer, Chelsea's success under Maresca continued as the Premier League team won the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025.  In the final, the Blues defeated Paris Saint-Germain, the Champions League winners from the previous season, 3-0. Chelsea has already been highly active during the summer transfer window and is hoping to win the Premier League title next season. The new players a...

After Hugo Ekitike, Liverpool is negotiating to sign a €90 million superstar.

Image
Hugo Ekitike's Liverpool is racing to the finish line, and according to several rumours, Real Madrid may pull off an even larger coup.  After Newcastle made it quite apparent that Alexander Isak was not for sale, Liverpool swiftly switched to Hugo Ekitike. Earlier last week, Newcastle submitted a £70 million proposal for Ekitike, but they swiftly withdrew from the competition when they saw Liverpool was closing in. Ben Jacobs and Fabrice Hawkins, two sources, have verified that Liverpool and the Eintracht Frankfurt striker have reached a personal agreement. A six-year contract has been agreed to.  Frankfurt rejected Liverpool's initial offer for Ekitike, but a better second offer is already being prepared and should be submitted soon. David Ornstein of The Athletic later said that the clubs are negotiating a deal for "in excess" of €80 million or £70 million. The media's reliable sources all support the assertion that Ekitike will end up at Anfield. However, bas...

The second United agreement is in grave danger as the fearsome attacker REJECTS Manchester United's move to sign with Liverpool.

Image
A second United move might fall through as a result of a £70 million forward turning down Manchester United and agreeing to a contract to join Liverpool. For Manchester United supporters, the transfer window has been difficult thus far because many of their fiercest competitors have already made many acquisitions and are working on numerous others. In fact, when the arrivals of Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, and Cristhian Mosquera are finalised and announced, Arsenal's significant signing total will rise to SIX in the days ahead. Liverpool, on the other hand, is poised to acquire a striker valued at £70 million who has reportedly rejected Manchester United.  They have previously signed players like Florian Wirtz, Milos Kerkez, and Jeremie Frimpong.  The man in question is Hugo Ekitike, and according to journalist Fabrice Hawkins, Liverpool and the Frankfurt striker have reached a six-year personal agreement. Newcastle had made a £70 million proposal for the 23-year-old, who wa...

£60 million striker prepared to respond to Manchester United's SOS cry as Ruben Amorim intervenes

Image
Aston Villa striker Ollie Watkins' position on a possible summer transfer to Old Trafford has been revealed in a report, and a former Old Trafford star offers his opinion on why manager Ruben Amorim should acquire the Englishman, giving Manchester United a significant boost in their pursuit of the player. Amorim is adamant on acquiring a new striker this summer, even though Manchester United has already acquired Matheus Cunha from Wolves and is in active negotiations with Brentford regarding Bryan Mbeumo. The manager of Manchester United understood last season that neither Joshua Zirkzee nor Rasmus Hojlund are talented or productive enough to return the team to its Premier League glory days. All summer long, Manchester United has been aggressively seeking a striker, and two of their top targets are Viktor Gyokeres and Liam Delap. Despite working with Amorim at Sporting CP, Gyokeres is headed to Arsenal, while Delap joined Chelsea from Ipswich Town. According to The Sun, Manchester ...

Amorim keeps Osimhen's "burning magnetism" going by making Manchester United one of four destinations.

Image
With the striker still very much on Ruben Amorim's shopping list, Manchester United has been named as one of the four teams Victor Osimhen will select from this summer.  The Red Devils are also heavily linked to another Premier League star after losing out on Viktor Gyokeres. Up until now, the Red Devils have concentrated on bolstering their offensive during this summer window.  Wolves paid £62.5 million for Matheus Cunha, and Manchester United is now hoping to add Bryan Mbeumo to the mix. A third offer is now expected to be made for the Brentford forward. Amorim, the manager of United, is aware that he still needs to acquire a centre striker specialist, but any upcoming high-profile addition is probably going to depend on sales first.  Although United has been heavily linked to a number of highly talented No. 9s, it looks that their first two options—Gyokeres, who is reportedly close to joining Arsenal, and Liam Delap, who left for Chelsea—have fallen through the cracks...

Real Madrid reacts to Leeds' £17 million offer for Gonzalo Garcia

Image
As Los Blancos boss Xabi Alonso's opinions on the young striker become clear, a source claims that Real Madrid has made a decision about Gonzalo Garcia's future in the face of interest from Leeds United and Sunderland.  Although Garcia is not yet a well-known Madrid player, the 21-year-old striker is rapidly becoming a fan favourite because to his outstanding achievements for Los Blancos at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup.  In three competition games thus far, the Spaniard has netted two goals and provided one assist, helping Los Blancos advance as group champions to the Round of 16. Garcia is unlikely to start regularly the following season, though, given the presence of players like Kylian Mbappe, Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo, and Endrick on the Madrid team.  Clubs are lining up for Garcia, according to Fichajes, with Leeds already placing a sizable bid. Leeds is looking for a new striker. Leeds won automatic promotion from the Championship and will play in the Premier League ...
