Eberechi Eze wishes Chelsea luck as reports show that the Blues can defeat Arsenal.

According to sources who spoke to Thesportmoment, Chelsea has begun negotiations to capture Eberechi Eze during the summer transfer season while Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur decide whether to pursue the Crystal Palace offensive midfielder.

Chelsea had a great 2024–25 season under manager Enzo Maresca. The Blues qualified for the Champions League after finishing fourth in the Premier League standings. 

After winning the Champions League, Europa League, and Super Cup, the London team also won the Conference League, making them the first team in history to win all four of the major European titles.

In the summer, Chelsea's success under Maresca continued as the Premier League team won the FIFA Club World Cup in 2025. 

In the final, the Blues defeated Paris Saint-Germain, the Champions League winners from the previous season, 3-0. Chelsea has already been highly active during the summer transfer window and is hoping to win the Premier League title next season.

The new players at Stamford Bridge for the time being are Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Estevao, Dario Essugo, Mamadou Sarr, and Kendry Paez.

Chelsea is currently attempting to buy Eze from London rivals Palace, according to sources who spoke to Thesportmoment. 

According to Thesportmoment, Chelsea has begun negotiating with Eze's agents in order to discuss a possible deal. 

The Blues saw Eze, who is renowned for his flair, vision, and ability to break through defenders, as a more affordable option than Morgan Rogers of Aston Villa, who is valued at a hefty £90 million.

On the other hand, Eze's Palace deal includes a £68 million release clause, which makes the 27-year-old England international a desirable addition to Chelsea's roster without breaking the bank.

Thesportmoment revealed on June 26 that Arsenal was interested in Eze, and the playmaker was pleased with the offer the north London team made.

The former Queens Park Rangers star is no longer a target for the Gunners, though. 

Given that they have already bought Martin Zubimendi, Christian Norgaard, and Kepa Arrizabalaga this summer and are almost certain to sign Viktor Gyokeres, Noni Madueke, and Cristhian Mosquera, Arsenal is unwilling to spend £68 million for Eze. 

Chelsea now has a clearer route after Arsenal's departure, and the Blues are willing to offer Eze a big contract to get him to sign.

Eze, who made 31 Premier League appearances for Palace last season and contributed eight goals and eight assists, is also admired by Tottenham Hotspur.

Chelsea is now in a stronger position to get Eze, though, as Spurs have also retreated in recent weeks and turned their attention to other targets.

According to sources, Chelsea wants Eberechi Eze.

Chelsea's desire to add another creative player to their midfield is demonstrated by their pursuit of Eze.

Eze is a top target for Chelsea due to his versatility and demonstrated Premier League talent. 

The Englishman's performances from the previous season demonstrated his capacity to impact games as a creator and scorer. 

Chelsea wants to add a dynamic midfield player who can compete in the final third and enhance their current offensive options, which is why they are interested in Eze. 

Eze's technical skill and flare fit in nicely with Chelsea's desired tactical setup under Maresca's leadership.

Chelsea is striking a balance between ambition and financial caution with the possible transfer. 

Eze's age and Premier League experience guarantee he can make an early impact, and his arrival can provide them the creative edge they're looking for.

It has been predicted that Chelsea and Manchester United will exchange two players for a total of £100 million, which would be advantageous to both sides.

After failing to sign an AC Milan star earlier this summer, sources have told Thesportmoment that Chelsea is still interested in him, but the Premier League offers another choice. 

A forward for Chelsea is so eager to go out that he is willing to accept a lower salary and rejoin one of his previous teams.
