After making a club-record £116 million move from Bayer Leverkusen, Florian Wirtz reportedly told the club's board that he wants to "win everything every year" at Liverpool.  The 22-year-old completed a physical at Liverpool's training facility on Friday, June 20, and signed a long-term contract that is believed to last until 2030. This Wirtz agreement, which includes an initial £100 million (€117 million, $134.6 million) and £16 million (€18.7 million, $21.5 million) in possible add-ons, is by far the Reds' biggest acquisition.  Darwin Nunez held the record when he came from Benfica in 2022 for a maximum of £85 million (€99 million, $114.5 million).  The German international stated after completing his transfer to Anfield that he intends to win any trophy that Arne Slot's side would be able to win in the future.  Based on his remarks, the club's owners, Fenway Sports Group, may be given a subliminal reminder to bolster the team in order to fulfil his trop...

Man Utd is "optimistic" about acquiring the "ideal center-forward" following "positive contacts."

Image
As Viktor Gyokeres' position on a possible reunion with Ruben Amorim at the Red Devils been made public, Manchester United is reportedly hopeful that Hugo Ekitike would join them during the summer transfer window.  Signing a top-tier striker is Manchester United's #1 priority during the summer transfer window. Joshua Zirkzee and Rasmus Hojlund haven't demonstrated their ability to score goals frequently in the Premier League, as the Red Devils only scored 44 goals in 38 league games the previous season. In order to increase Manchester United's chances of placing in the top four of the Premier League table the next season, manager Ruben Amorim is adamant about acquiring a striker. Man Utd is reportedly in active negotiations to sign Eintracht Frankfurt's Ekitike during the summer transfer window, according to FootMercato.  Ekitike's efforts last season really delighted Manchester United, who have been fans since his time at Reims. In 48 games during the 2024–25 s...

Real Madrid's position on acquiring Alexis Mac Allister of Liverpool is revealed following the Franco Mastantuono transaction.

Image
According to a Spanish rumour, Real Madrid is unwilling to give Liverpool the amount they demand for Alexis Mac Allister.  However, Los Blanco thinks they may sign one of Arne Slot's greatest players if Florian Wirtz moves to Anfield.  After joining Liverpool from Brighton & Hove Albion in the summer of 2023, Mac Allister has emerged as one of the Premier League's top midfielders. The 26-year-old, who won the Copa America in 2024 and the World Cup in 2022, made 49 appearances for Liverpool last season, contributing seven goals and six assists as Slot's team easily won the Premier League title. The current Los Blancos boss and former Liverpool midfielder Xabi Alonso is reportedly a huge fan of the Argentine star, who has been linked to a move to Madrid during the summer transfer window. Carlo Ancelotti, the former manager of Real Madrid, is also said to have stated his wish to collaborate with the dynamic midfield player at the Santiago Bernabeu.  According to Defensa ...

Real Madrid gives Liverpool a long-term aim to go with Wirtz while Slot makes a snap decision.

According to rumours in Spain, Aurelien Tchouameni is one of three players who have been told they have no future under new Real Madrid coach Xabi Alonso.  Liverpool has been given the opportunity to finally sign the long-term objective. The Premier League winners made a swift deal to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold with Jeremie Frimpong, and they have since exploded out of the transfer blocks this summer. Additionally, Liverpool's defence will feel more modern and fresh with the impending arrival of Milos Kerkez from Bournemouth in a transaction estimated to be worth between £40 million and £45 million. But what has fans really excited is the impending signing of Florian Wirtz.  There is still hope that a record-breaking deal will soon be concluded, even though negotiations for a complete agreement with Bayer Leverkusen have eventually proven to be a drawn-out procedure. Given that Wirtz is poised to emerge as Liverpool's first-choice attacking midfielder, the Reds now have th...

Borussia Dortmund wants to sign a Manchester United player and switch his position right away.

Image
According to a rumour, Borussia Dortmund has "expressed their interest" in recruiting a well-known player that Manchester United is more than prepared to part with, and an instant positional move is imminent. There are plenty of talented players that Manchester United is ready to let go this summer.  Though arrivals beyond Matheus Cunha and Bryan Mbeumo will depend on earning large payments from player sales, the Red Devils want to finalise deals for those two players as quickly as possible. Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, Antony, and Jadon Sancho are the four players that United will be happy to say goodbye to.  All four of them are attackers, and United is getting ready to overhaul their last third.  A new striker will be signed after Cunha and Mbeumo, and there is increasing hope that United will be able to bring Ruben Amorim and Viktor Gyokeres back together. In any event, Sancho is the subject of today's report, and exits are necessary before Manchester United c...

Everton is "shock contenders" to sign the Man City player, whom Moyes once referred to as "the best" in the Premier League.

Image
Although some financial wrangling is necessary for the move, Everton has emerged as "shock contenders" to recruit Manchester City player Jack Grealish, who may leave the Etihad to improve his prospects of returning to the England squad.  Thomas Tuchel has excluded the 29-year-old from the England squad, and he needs to play frequently in the first team to gain the manager's attention. In 2021, Man City paid £100 million to acquire Grealish from Aston Villa, breaking the British transfer record.  Since then, he has been a vital member of Pep Guardiola's squad. Grealish, however, only made 20 Premier League games in 2024–2025 and scored just one goal. City is now amenable to the winger departing, but since suitors are unwilling to match his £300,000 weekly salary, they could have to approve a loan.  Thesportmoment exclusively reported on May 26 that if City were to make Grealish available for loan, Everton would be a team to keep an eye on. Grealish has long been admir...

The "most comprehensive player" has "accepted Manchester United." after contacting Ruben Amorim

Image
A second source claims that he is prepared to transfer to Old Trafford as Red Devils manager Ruben Amorim fulfils his dream, giving Manchester United a significant boost in their pursuit of a deadly striker. After a terribly dismal season in which they lost to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final and placed 15th in the Premier League table, Manchester United has set out to improve for the 2025–2026 season. Matheus Cunha, a forward for Brazil, was previously signed by Manchester United from Wolves, and manager Amorim plans to use him as one of his two number 10s.  Bryan Mbeumo, a winger, is another player the Red Devils are negotiating with Brentford to sign during the summer transfer window.  Rasmus Hojlund and Joshua Zirkzee aren't showing up as the prolific striker the Red Devils need to compete with teams like Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal, and Chelsea, therefore they're also looking for a new striker. Despite having in-person discussions with the Red Devils, ...

Arsenal decides between Gyokeres and Sesko to put the Manchester United move on a plate.

Image
According to sources, Arsenal has made a decision about the acquisition of either Viktor Gyokeres or Benjamin Sesko, and the result of that decision has significantly increased the likelihood that Manchester United will make a fantastic deal of their own. For the upcoming season, both Manchester United and Arsenal are searching for a strong new striker to lead their lines.  In addition to Martin Zubimendi and a new left winger, the Gunners are hoping that a clinical new striker would help them win the Premier League for the first time since 2004. Man Utd, on the other hand, wants to start Ruben Amorim's rebuild, and they believe the team needs to improve more in attack.  Bryan Mbeumo may soon follow Matheus Cunha, who will be signing first.  Behind the striker, who might be Gyokeres, they will take up the dual No. 10 positions.  Before the 22-year-old decided to sign with Chelsea, United had first hoped to sign Liam Delap.  In that sense, United paid a heavy pri...

After fresh negotiations, Chelsea is prepared to pay the release clause of an elite star.

Image
According to reports, Chelsea has told Nico Williams' representation that they are happy to pay his release clause at Athletic Club; nevertheless, there is still one more obstacle to be cleared before the transfer can proceed.  After playing a crucial part in Spain's win at Euro 2024—even scoring the first goal in the final against England—Williams became a globally recognised celebrity.  The winger was heavily linked to Barcelona last summer, but the deal ultimately fell through. Williams remained with Athletic Club, where he has made 45 appearances this season, tallying 11 goals and seven assists.  Williams, one of La Liga's most formidable attackers, is considering leaving Bilbao to try his hand at a larger team.  Barca is now focussing on other wingers, such Kingsley Coman of Bayern Munich and Marcus Rashford of Manchester United. Premier League teams like Chelsea and Arsenal are now able to negotiate for Williams as a result of this. Over the weekend, Blues exec...
