When Manchester United receives a transfer approach for an ex-Chelsea player, a Sancho bidding war is on the horizon.

This summer, there may be a bidding battle for Jadon Sancho as interest in the Manchester United failure keeps rising.

The England international cost £73 million (€85 million, $98 million) to leave Borussia Dortmund for Manchester United in 2021, but he has turned out to be one of their worst acquisitions in recent memory.

After spending this season on loan at Stamford Bridge, Sancho's fall was encapsulated when Chelsea turned down his request to sign him for £25 million (€29 million, $33.7 million).

Rather than hiring him, they chose to pay a £5 million penalty fee. The former Dortmund loanee is expected to leave Old Trafford this summer, but it looks like there will be plenty of suitors for the 25-year-old.

Serie A champions Napoli are also interested in Sancho, but he will have to accept a wage reduction to join them.

Juventus has reportedly looked into the terms of a deal for him, according to Sky Sports.

According to the report, United values the Englishman at roughly £25 million, but according to sources close to Thesportmoment, they want to pay about £30 million (€35 million, $40.4 million) before allowing him to depart.

We know that the wideman is being watched by Saudi Pro League teams as well, with Middle Eastern teams more than willing to pay his high salary demands.

Sancho's future is uncertain.

Sancho made 83 appearances for United across all competitions, scoring just 12 goals and dishing up a pitiful six assists. Some could have been taken aback by Chelsea's desire to sign him to the west London team, even though they ultimately decided against a long-term contract.

One year before his contract expires, a Red Devils departure appears certain after his return of five goals and ten assists in 41 games was insufficient to persuade Enzo Maresca's team to take a chance on him.

According to reports, Sancho has approved a move to Napoli, but he has also been connected to Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid.

He might play with Scott McTominay, a former United teammate who won Serie A player of the season after leading his squad to the league championship, if he decides to move to Naples.

According to Sebastian Kehl, sporting director, Dortmund has ruled out bringing Sancho back to the Bundesliga powerhouses for a third time.

"We have a long-standing relationship with Jadon, so there is always contact with him in one way or another," he stated last week.

We're not talking about Jadon right now. Right now, our priorities are different, and it appears that the name Jadon Sancho has received more publicity in the media than internal discussion.
