After a "final decision," a major player will leave Arsenal.

With trustworthy writer David Ornstein providing the most recent information on the Ghanaian's future, Arsenal is expected to confirm the departure of midfielder Thomas Partey.

Arsenal has already scheduled the signing of two new midfielders to assist cover the vacuum left by the 32-year-old's contract expiring on June 30.

After joining Arsenal in 2020, Partey was instrumental in the team's ascent under Mikel Arteta.

According to reports, the management was eager to keep him, but he is now going to take up a new challenge somewhere else.

When the 32-year-old midfielder's contract expires tomorrow, Ornstein wrote on X, "Thomas Partey will leave Arsenal – decision final after agreement could not be found on new deal."

Arsenal confirmation is anticipated in the days ahead. Ghana should wait before deciding on its next course of action.

Since joining Arsenal five years ago, Partey has made 167 appearances for the London team, recording nine goals and seven assists.

He played 35 games in the Premier League last season and was still a vital part of Arteta's team. Meanwhile, the addition of two new players who can cover defensive midfield seems imminent for the Gunners.

A double midfield deal is nearing for Arsenal.

To assist replace Partey, Arsenal is close to signing Christian Norgaard of Brentford and Martin Zubimendi of Real Sociedad.

The two will also cover for Jorginho, who is also expected to leave Arsenal when his contract expires tomorrow and become a free agent. Zubimendi, 26, reportedly "jetted in" to finalise his contract with Arsenal earlier this week.

According to reports, Arsenal is paying Real Sociedad a little bit more than his €60 million (£51 million or $69 million) release clause in order to postpone part of the payments.

Regarding Norgaard, Fabrizio Romano has already said that he is ready to sign him after Arsenal and Brentford apparently reached an agreement on a €11 million (£9.3 million or $12.8 million) deal.

Some believe Arsenal would have been better off keeping Partey instead, even if Norgaard will bring a wealth of Premier League experience. "[Norgaard] is an OK player," Gabriel Agbonlahor stated on talkSPORT.

He's a good player, so I get it for the value, but you're losing Thomas Partey. It just feels a little strange. Say it's over money since Arsenal and Partey are unable to come to an agreement on a deal.

Just give Partey the £9 million you paid for Norgaard as the wage difference he demands." How about just handing it to him? You are aware of his abilities. It's really strange.

It appears that Arsenal does not shop at the upscale stores like Manchester City and Liverpool. Arsenal is in Asda, and they are shopping at Waitrose.

I get that you need protection now that Jorginho is gone, but I'm sure Arsenal supporters are saying, "Come on, we don't mind Norgaard coming in, but we need a top striker," as they watch Liverpool spend £116 million on Florian Wirtz and Man City spend similarly.
