The crazy star should follow Wirtz and Frimpong to Anfield after agreeing to "personal terms with Liverpool.

As Arne Slot's summer transfer plan gets underway, Fabrizio Romano claims that Liverpool has reached a personal agreement with one of their key targets.

In his first season as manager of the Reds, Slot has guided the team to the Premier League championship.

After Jurgen Klopp left, many anticipated that the 2024–25 season would be a transitional one for the Merseyside team, but Slot wasted little time in guiding the Reds back to the top of English football.

Liverpool is aware that they must make fresh acquisitions because teams like Arsenal, Manchester City, and Chelsea are anticipated to bolster their rosters during the summer transfer window.

Florian Wirtz, an attacking midfielder for Bayer Leverkusen, has committed to joining Liverpool this summer.

Meanwhile, on May 20, Romano wrote on X that Jeremie Frimpong, a teammate of his, had already "completed first and second part of his medical with formal steps and announcement to follow" and said, "Here we go.

Goalie Giorgi Mamardashvili will join Liverpool's team for the next campaign after joining from Valencia; the transaction was finalised last summer.

According to recent reports, Liverpool is getting closer to making their third summer transfer window acquisition.

In September 2024, Fraser Fletcher, Thesportmoment's transfer correspondent, stated that Liverpool is interested in acquiring Kerkez from Bournemouth in the summer of 2025.

According to sources who spoke to Thesportmoment, Bournemouth is seeking £45 million for the Hungary international left-back, who in July 2023 was called "a crazy dude" who is "aggressive" and "powerful" by his former AZ teammate Mathew Ryan in Soccer News.

Now, Romano has disclosed that Bournemouth left-back Kerkez has a contract with Liverpool.

My information, guys, is that Kerkez already has an agreement on personal terms with Liverpool," the journalist informed GiveMeSport. Just a few minor elements need to be made clear.

After that, Bournemouth is in communication with Liverpool. This one is still being worked on by Liverpool.

There are ongoing discussions for Kerkez with both Frimpong and Wirtz, and this week, the talks will continue to close the deal."

Milos Kerkez's remarks regarding his future

Kerkez was a standout player for Bournemouth and has been among the Premier League's top left-backs this season. In 38 league games with the Cherries, the 21-year-old recorded two goals and five assists.

Kerkez has said that he is unsure if he would remain at Bournemouth for another season now that the Premier League season is done.

"We finished the job and broke the record, thanks to the fans and everyone for support," the left-back posted on Instagram after starting 38 games.

Thanks to the coach for believing in me to start all 38 games, and especially to the person above for keeping me safe and healthy. Of course, without my family, nothing would be possible. I'm not sure what will happen next week, but thank you, Cherry family!

Current Liverpool news: Man Utd star offer, Newcastle competition

According to a rumour, Newcastle United is vying with Liverpool for a Brazilian striker. The Brighton and Hove Albion star is being pursued by the Premier League winners as a possible replacement for Darwin Nunez, who is expected to depart Anfield.

The Spanish media claims that one of Manchester United's top players is prepared to extend an offer to Liverpool.

According to reports, the winger is "fed up" with Man Utd head coach Ruben Amorim and is eager to discuss a possible summer trade with Real Madrid.

Meanwhile, Liverpool are willing to give six players to Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz.
