Man Utd surges into the race for a €100 million superstar as the search for a Garnacho replacement heats up.

Rafael Leao of AC Milan has drawn the attention of Manchester United and Chelsea, and Thesportmoment is aware that the winger's prospects of leaving the San Siro are growing. 

The club has been rocked by Milan's inability to qualify for European football next season, which has allowed possible suitors to jump at the chance to sign Leao.

We understand that officials from Arsenal and Barcelona have also communicated with Leao.

Barcelona is a huge fan of the winger, but they are presently focussing on other objectives, and their budgetary constraints could prevent them from making any kind of transfer.

On his day, Leao, 25, was regarded as one of Europe's top wingers. 

He joined Milan in 2019 and has played 260 games for the Italian powerhouse, scoring 70 goals and dishing out 62 assists. 

Leao's suitors are hopeful that a deal might be reached this summer because Milan was unable to qualify for Europe.

Chelsea, Manchester United, and Bayern Munich are vying for Leao.

Even though a lot of teams have expressed interest in Leao, Manchester United, Chelsea, and most importantly, Bayern Munich, are now the most tangible choices.

After losing out on Florian Wirtz, who is expected to join Liverpool, the German powerhouses are eager to bolster their attack with elite players and are looking to add someone of comparable calibre.

In the meantime, Manchester United is willing to let go of Alejandro Garnacho this summer in order to sign Leao. 

Chelsea, who have long admired the Portuguese international, may have their best opportunity to sign him at this time.

Thesportmoment is aware that Milan will not part with Leao for less than €100 million (£84 million). 

However, the club can feel pressured if they don't make it to European competitions, which could lead to a negotiating window.

Although Milan would want to keep Leao for the upcoming campaign, there is a growing belief that they may have to make a big offer this summer in order to finance a squad reconstruction.
