Exclusive: Ten Hag faced off against AC Milan in a spectacular raid to sign a Man Utd outcast

Alejandro Garnacho, a star for Manchester United, has been approached by AC Milan, while his former boss Erik ten Hag is eager to sign him at Bayer Leverkusen, according to Thesportmoment.

Due to off-field problems and the Red Devils' desire to raise money through player sales, Ruben Amorim has determined that the 20-year-old winger is surplus to needs.

On Saturday, Amorim allegedly made fun of Garnacho in front of his colleagues by stating, "You better pray that you can find a club to sign you.

However, Garnacho is still a promising player who will have plenty of chances this summer.

In January, Napoli expressed a firm interest in him.

According to a May 26 rumour, they are still looking for a left-winger to replace Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, who left for Paris Saint-Germain last winter.

According to Thesportmoment, Man Utd will entertain offers for Garnacho around €60 million (£50.4 million), which is thought to be a more fair price than the larger asking prices in the past.

Napoli is not alone in the competition, though, as sources indicate that Ten Hag is eager to get the Argentine to Germany and Milan is thinking of making a similar move.

Ten Hag watches Garnacho's return to Leverkusen, according to sources

Thesportmoment is aware that Garnacho is a target for Milan, particularly if Rafael Leao departs the team.

Despite being a vital member of the Rossoneri, Leao, 25, may be reluctantly sold to make room for other objectives.

Leao is on Manchester United's radar, along with Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Arsenal, and Barcelona, as Thesportmoment exclusively disclosed on May 26.

If the Italian powerhouses make a move for Garnacho, it will be intriguing to watch if Manchester United tries to acquire Leao in any deal.

In recent days, Milan established new communication with Garnacho's representatives and is still keeping a careful eye on the issue.

A few weeks ago, Bayer Leverkusen, who are also interested in him, spoke with his entourage to discuss the parameters of a potential deal.

And now that Ten Hag has been named Leverkusen's new head coach, the German team is a real contender for the winger.

Thesportmoment is aware that Ten Hag is eager to sign the young player and knows Garnacho well from their time together at Old Trafford.

Last but not least, Atletico Madrid, whose coach Diego Simeone much admires his countryman Garnacho, is also always watching.
