Dream Arsenal will intervene as the Manchester United transfer approaches complete failure.

According to rumours, Arsenal may succeed where the Red Devils fail, and a blockbuster Manchester United deal that once appeared simple to complete is now nearly difficult to achieve.

After Erik ten Hag's reign of dread and gloom, Man Utd saw a resurgence of hope with the mid-season arrival of Ruben Amorim.

Unfortunately for the supporters of Old Trafford, United has shown that even in the worst of circumstances, things can always become worse.

Since being relegated in the 1973–74 season, United has had their worst season to date.

The club's finances have been severely damaged as a result of their Europa League final loss, which has guaranteed them no European action for the upcoming season.

Many of the club's most well-known stars and academy graduates will now leave in a mass exodus.

Among the numerous others anticipated to go are Jadon Sancho, Antony, Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Kobbie Mainoo.

Man Utd let so many stars to depart in order to raise money for new players. After Manchester United agreed to pay Wolves the Brazilian's £62.5 million release clause in installments, Matheus Cunha will be joining No. 1.

In Amorim's 3-4-2-1 formation, Cunha will start in one of the two positions behind the striker.

There are initial expectations at Old Trafford that a reunion between Amorim and Viktor Gyokeres would be easy to achieve, and a new No 9 is anticipated to arrive.

Amorim is the manager that helped Gyokeres develop into the world-class striker he has become in recent years.

Sporting Lisbon has won a domestic double thanks to the Swede's incredible performance, which includes 53 goals in just 51 games this season.

Gyokeres will depart Sporting this summer, according to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, and for a sum far less than his €100 million release clause.

Through a verbal agreement reached by the athlete, his representatives, and Sporting's management,A deal can be completed with bids as low as €65 million.

However, Florian Plettenberg of Sky Germany has claimed that despite United's intense interest in Gyokeres, the move is most likely not going to happen.

"Remember that a move for Viktor Gyokeres to Manchester United is now virtually off the table!" he tweeted on X. At the moment, it is also not the player's goal.

Instead, Matheus Cunha is now being signed by Manchester United. Although not mentioned directly, Man Utd's financial difficulties and the lack of Champions League play are clear reasons why a Gyokeres deal was relegated to the trash heap.

Where did Manchester United fail, will Arsenal?

This summer, Gyokeres will move, but not to Manchester United. Instead, Mikel Arteta feels that the acquisition of a strong new striker will turn the Gunners from contenders to champions, and the 26-year-old might be the last piece of the puzzle.

According to a previous update from Plettenberg, Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig are the only two outstanding players left in Arsenal's striker search.

Gyokeres is Arsenal's sporting director Andrea Berta's first target, according to a prior report by David Ornstein of The Athletic.

Alexander Isak is still Arteta's ideal addition to the striker position. Isak's chances of leaving St.

James' Park seem slim, though, given Newcastle qualified for the Champions League despite losing to Everton on the last day.

Arsenal has shifted their attention to Sesko and Gyokeres as a result, and if they make a move for the latter, Amorim will have the opportunity to meet his former frontman in person while sporting an Arsenal shirt the next season.

Recent Man Utd news: United's dirty dozen and Garnacho to Napoli

In other news, it has been revealed that Alejandro Garnacho will be sold by Manchester United this summer, and a transfer to Napoli is imminent.

The Serie A winners are prepared to make a bid of about £50 million. I News reports that Man Utd has reduced their asking price to £50 million, increasing the likelihood of a deal being reached.

In another article, a commentator criticised Manchester United's team and listed TWELVE players, including three recently purchased players, that the team ought to cut.
