According to reports, Bruno Fernandes, a midfielder for Manchester United, has received an astronomical wage offer to join the Saudi Pro League.

Since joining Manchester United in 2020, Fernandes has been perhaps the team's greatest and most reliable player. 

To date in his career, the Portugal international offensive midfielder has made 289 appearances with the Red Devils, tallying 98 goals and dishing out 86 assists.

There is a real chance that the 30-year-old may leave Manchester United, even though his contract is set to expire in the summer of 2027 with a one-year extension option. 

Fernandes said that he might quit Manchester United during the summer transfer window following the team's loss to Tottenham Hotspur in the Europa League final.

According to TBR, the Saudi Pro League is prepared to elevate Fernandes to the position of third-highest paid player in their league.

Fernandes will earn more than €1 million per week (£840,000 per week, $1.14 million per week) if he chooses to switch, with only Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema earning more.

The Portuguese star knows that Manchester United, who have had one of their worst seasons ever and might finish 17th in the Premier League standings, does not want him to leave, even though he is open to the idea of joining the Saudi Pro League and earning a fortune. 

According to TBR, Man Utd head coach Ruben Amorim is "eager to retain his services" and does not want Fernandes to depart.

Al-Hilal has expressed interest in Fernandes, according to GiveMeSport, but Manchester United "are not actively looking to sell" the 30-year-old.If they get an offer of at least £100 million, they might be able to profit from him. 

According to the report, "GMS sources have been informed that Fernandes, who has on a personal level enjoyed a productive campaign, has remained fully committed to Manchester United and he will not agitate to embark on a fresh challenge even though his current employers could be tempted to do business if a nine-figure proposal is put on the table."

Sources claim that Bruno Fernandes is a target for Bayern Munich.

Real Madrid may rekindle their interest in Fernandes, according to GMS. According to a March story, Madrid was preparing a £90 million bid for the Manchester United player.
