After receiving approval, the Euro behemoth is moving forward to acquire TWO Man City players.

Napoli is making progress in their pursuit of two of Manchester City's top players, and the Italian team may steal both of them in the summer.

This season, City has retreated from their status as the Premier League's dominant force.

After winning four straight Premier League titles, they have struggled to finish in the top four for a portion of this season and are now in third place.

Elite playmaker Kevin De Bruyne is one of the season's casualties; he has not received a new contract offer from City and will go at the end of the current campaign.

Another might be Jack Grealish, who has started just seven Premier League games this season and is reportedly set to be let go from the Etihad this summer.

Both players might wind up at Napoli, the same team. The Times claims that the Italian team has expressed interest in De Bruyne and has spoken with his agents to express their desire to recruit the Belgian.

Meanwhile, according to Gianluca di Marzio, De Bruyne has "opened up" to the transfer. This comes after Napoli reportedly visited Manchester in recent weeks to show the offensive midfielder their idea. According to

The Sun, Antonio Conte, the manager of Napoli, is a "huge fan" of Grealish and the team is keeping tabs on him despite his unclear future.

Napoli advancing to Man City pair

There is also good news regarding Napoli's pursuit of Grealish, as it has been hinted that De Bruyne may already be on board. First, sources from Thesportmoment can attest to that desire.

Furthermore, according to The Sun, Grealish is "open-minded" about leaving City and acknowledges that a move might be the key to revitalising his career and improving his prospects of playing for England. Furthermore, it is thought that he would prefer to move overseas than remain in the Premier League.

Both De Bruyne and Grealish could move to a European team in order to continue playing at a high level in Europe, as City is unwilling to bolster a Premier League rival with the sale. Napoli has confirmed Champions League football for the upcoming season.

Man City recap: Rogers move under consideration

Thesportmoment is aware that City is keeping an eye on Aston Villa star Morgan Rogers, so even though they lose one or perhaps two top offensive midfielders, they might be able to get one of their own.

Chelsea is pursuing the £90 million star, but he would be willing to move for the right team.

According to reports, Liverpool was attempting to sign De Bruyne, a star player for City. However, a journalist has dispelled the rumour, saying that the Belgian has received "no offer."
