After ignoring Tottenham, the dangerous 113-goal attacker is considering a move to Chelsea.

Amid worrying rumours regarding his Bayern Munich future, Chelsea has received a transfer boost after discovering that star winger Leroy Sane would prefer to join them over Tottenham Hotspur.

Sane returned to Germany by signing a £55 million contract with Bayern after winning two Premier League titles with Manchester City from 2016 to 2020.

In 218 games in all competitions, he has scored 61 goals and provided 54 assists for Bayern, helping the Bavarians win four Bundesliga crowns and other trophies like the FIFA Club World Cup.

Since the forward's contract is set to expire on June 30, there has been a lot of speculation around his future during the season.

With Real Madrid, Barcelona, and numerous other elite Premier League clubs keen, it has been speculated that he might follow Trent Alexander-Arnold's example by negotiating his terms before joining his next team on a free transfer.

The contract negotiations between Bayern and Sane have lately advanced, but they have now again come to a standstill.

According to the most recent information from Sky Germany, Sane "is not satisfied" with the financial package that Bayern has offered.

The Germany star has named renowned agency Pini Zahavi as his new agent in an effort to generate interest from other parties and negotiate a better deal with Bayern.

Given that he has chosen which teams he wants to play for next, it appears that Sane is already considering life away from the German powerhouses.

The four major Premier League teams interested in signing him on a free transfer are Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, and Newcastle United.

It is said that Sane would like to join Chelsea and Arsenal over Spurs or Newcastle because he views them as "top-notch" teams.

The 29-year-old thinks both Chelsea and Arsenal will contend for titles the next season, thus a move to either team "appeals" to him.

Sane's family would also be eager to relocate to London. In Spain, Sane is lured by the idea of playing as a star for Real Madrid or Barcelona. Zahavi is tight with both of them of those clubs as well.

Leroy Sane demands £244k per week

Chelsea now understands that in order to acquire Sane at a low price, they will have to fend off Arsenal, Madrid, and Barcelona. Sane's pay demands have also been communicated to the Blues.

At least €15 million (£12.7 million) a season, or about £244,000 per week, is what he wants. Given his availability and reputation as one of the world's top wingers, Sane might be a fantastic addition to Chelsea.

In fact, he has won league titles in Germany and England and scored 113 goals in 410 career games. Harry Kane, a teammate of his at Bayern, has called him a "dangerous" player.

Signing Sane would help Enzo Maresca to bolster his wide options while saving money for other positions such as centre-forward and central defence.

Since Sane is mostly a right-sided winger, Pedro Neto or Noni Madueke might play on the left more frequently if he joins Chelsea.
