Cunha is revealed as the next Man Utd signing after the £92.5 million double deal proceeds.

Matheus Cunha is Man Utd's first summer acquisition, and the sport moment can confirm that a second deal, this time involving a striker, is also moving quickly forward. In reference to the former, the Red Devils have jumped ahead of the competition to get Wolves' Matheus Cunha.

Instead, an agreement on personal terms with Cunha is all that’s required — if United are willing to pay the release clause, of course. With Man Utd make tremendous advances towards working out a deal on the player side, Cunha appears ready to become the first signing of what’s shaping up to be a hugely momentous summer at Old Trafford. Furthermore, sources have informed Fraser Fletcher, a transfer insider for Thesportmoment, that Liam Delap of Ipswich Town may follow shortly after.

Liam Delap is being led by Manchester United. In the striker position, Delap has become Manchester United's top transfer target. Although Delap is currently the main focus, the club does have interest in highly rumoured targets like Victor Osimhen.

If Ipswich is relegated, the 22-year-old's release clause, which is worth £40 million, will reduce to £30 million. With five games remaining, relegation is unfortunately all but certain for Kieran McKenna's team. According to The Athletic, more than half of the Premier League is interested in signing Delap, but the competition has narrowed to only two teams: Manchester United and Chelsea.

And according to insiders, Manchester United is predicted to win the contest between the two teams. Fraser Fletcher, our insider, has been told that the Blues "have been offering a much more staggered deal" in terms of wages, and that Manchester United's package is "far more solid."

We can also disclose that Delap's ultimate decision on where to play next will be heavily influenced by salary, with the Red Devils leading the pack in that area as well.

Even if United does not play in Europe the next season, Delap would still be open to a move to Old Trafford, according to Thesportmoment. 

If Manchester United wins the Europa League, they can advance to the Champions League; however, Delap is not concerned if they don't. The Red Devils are now getting closer to a £92.5 million double deal for Cunha and Delap because Chelsea has so far refused to match United's ambition in the deal.
